F8B11 Grom

The F8B2 Grom (Flying Eight Ball Two Grom) model is for the grom that wants to drive hard off the bottom and explode off the lip. This board will have you pushing your surfing; sharp in the nose area with a pronounced hip just in front of fins creates less friction and more response. Full rocker deep single double concaves with vee exiting the tail adds speed, power with the added touch of flow to your surfing. The F8B2 Grom is the ultimate weapon for high performance surfing.

Tail Option

Howie recommends a Rounded Square tail for the 'F8B11 Grom' model, which comes as standard. However, if you prefer an alternate / specific tail shape, be sure to place your order via our CUSTOM ORDER FORM. Note: This model also performs well when ordered as: Swallow Tail: Fast down the line.

Outline

Narrow nose slight hip in tail with wider tail block. Less nose area creating quick response, narrow through the centre point allows the board to transition from rail to rail quicker. The hip in the tail added an extra point to pivot off

Rail

Low soft boxy. Less rail shape for ease in and out of turns with squarer rails in tail for floatation and bouncy.

Concave

Deep single to double exiting spiral vee. Speed power and flow. single concave for speed, double concave inside the single between the feet for power and spiral vee exiting for the flow.

Rocker

Extreme rocker nose and tail. High level of performance with less drag to fit in small and tight curves on the wave.
