H-Bubble Pop

H-Bubble Pop

Another Howie High Performance fish with a timeless, functional outline that’s easy on the eye. The evolution of the H Bubble concave deck has arrived with the H Bubble series. The main difference between the H Bubble and the H Bubble POP is the H Bubble POP comes with double flyers and less thickness in the tail for added response with bite and allows you to take your surfing in small waves to the next level. Designed for waves 4 feet and under for all abilities. Howie Recommends: Ride this board 2 to 3 inches shorter, 1/4 to 1/2 wider and 1/8 to 1/4 less in thickness.

Tail Option

Howie recommends a Round tail (with double flyers) for the 'H-Bubble Pop' model, which comes as standard. However, if you prefer an alternate / specific tail shape, be sure to place your order via our CUSTOM ORDER FORM. Note: This model also performs well when ordered as: Rounded Pin - Smooth effortless surfing allowing you to draw longer arcs through your turns.

Outline

This is another High performance fish. Full in the nose and wide with 2 x flyers pulling the tail in to a round tail. Small mushy waves need volume and this caters for that in the area through the nose and the performance in the pulled in tail.

Rail

This is one board in the concave deck model range so the centre of the deck is lower than the shoulder of the rail. The rail has a low entry but full into the shoulder around the outline of the board. Giving a very retro feel and look. Benefits : The centre point being thinner by about 1/4 inch in thickness carries the volume into the rail. Very full in your hand and at first a little different to most rails. It comes into its own in the small conditions as the rails are very free flowing and creates a lot of drive and movement forward.

Concave

Slight single concave entry getting deepest around the middle of the board and flowing through the tail with slight double concave with a flat exit. Benefits : lots of movement forward over dead sections with the water being broken up through the tail for ease of turning.

Rocker

A very well balanced medium rocker nose and tail. This adds to the performance and allows me to go up in length for bigger guys at a lower ability.
