The Lions Mane is our latest high-performance all-rounder. After months of testing from our team riders, with a lot of positive feedback, we felt it was time to let-loose the Lions Mane on the general public. Most commonly the feedback we get is that the board feels easy to ride, smooth and responsive. The concave isn’t 'U' shaped going from edge to edge it’s more 'V' shaped - breaking that sticky feeling you get with a deep 'U' shaped concave. Everything in this board is subtle, from Rocker nose entry (which is mid-to-high), balanced with a mid-to-high tail rocker. Volume is carried through the entire board with a little thicker nose foil to keep the board from catching in and out of turns. The overall outline is smooth and appealing to the eye, with a little more curve in the back half of the board, and a smaller tail block than the other 'All-Rounder'' in our range (the Biggie Smalls). The Lions mane is very well-rounded standard ripper with great all over balance. It fits in our range between the Biggie Smalls and Black Unicorn models. Howie suggests ordering the lions Mane 1/16 less than usual shortboard in thickness.
